Good luck today, Rosa!

Didin't you say you were going for your botox, sorry, nose job, today?

Joking aside I hope it goes well with little, if any, discomfort and that you will feel as pleased as punch with your appearance. We know you're lovely anyway and if a procedure makes you feel your best then it will be a good day in your life.

Love and hugs xxx

Monday - another week commenceth!

Morning ladies. I have started waking up early again, which is very annoying. Probably due to the light mornings, which I am definitely not complaining about.

Had a good day yesterday. While OH was on the rescue boat at the sailing club, I did more weeding and it is now waiting in the shed to be taken to the dump, which we will do hopefully today. In the afternoon, we popped over to see my cousin, who has just moved into a house he has built. Very nice and fits in well with the surroundings. He had bought a tatty 1930s little house, demolished it and rebuilt including a basement. It was in a row of 5 houses all the same, so had a lot of opposition from some of the locals.

We also had an email from our cleaner in Cornwall, advising us that the previous visitors had stained rug with coffee in the lounge and tried to hide it by moving the sofa over it and also that there was a trail of blood from the bathroom to the bed in one of the bedrooms and on the bedsheets. That visitor then sent us an email saying what a great time they had had and how they had left it as when they had arrived. So we had to dispute this and now they are denying it. Unfortunately our cleaner didn't have the nouse to take photos. So we are between the devil and the deep blue sea here. There is certainly no reason for our cleaner to lie. Please, please will the buyer of our house here, who is obviously shy and hiding please come forward and then we won't have to worry about holiday lets ever again!

Knit and natter this morning. I then need to do a supermarket shop, which is only a few mins from the dump. However we are waiting for a courier service. We have tickets for Goodwood arriving - horses not cars. Their website insisted on a courier service, rather than ordinary post unfortunately. Needless to say they haven't given any indication what time.

You will be pleased to hear that OH's backpack from his meeting in London has been found. In the Lake District! It is being couriered down. I expect we will get it back tomorrow or Wednesday.

Have a good one
Monday - another week commenceth!

And the Mondays Keep Coming ….

Good Morning, it's here again and thankfully in these here parts with a bit of sunshine - after a good soaking for some at the weekend. Hope everyone has everything 'covered' and is ready to navigate a new week.

Just hugged OH off to work so am contemplating my day - might pop to IKEA which I've been saying I'd do for a week now - needing a nice cream picture frame for a poster I asked a kind restaurant owner for (it's one of those paper place settings - picture of his premises - an old village house dating back to the 19th century.) It was taken at night, the place is all lit up and looks like an old farm building with all sorts of bric - a - brac and pots with flowers dotted all over the place. They celebrate Easter down there (Resurrection at Midnight) by lighting up all sorts of tiny hot air balloons and sending them skywards making a very nice display in the picture. Saw lots of these lanterns for sale in a tourist shop when we visited, all handmade - something a bit different but not what you could bring back in an otherwise full bike box!

Taking me a little longer to spring into step this morning - sleep was very absorbing last evening and still wants to hang around - I think another coffee is called for to keep my 'lids from drooping.

Hope you all have a nice week. xxx

Hey, thanks for that great investigation work on biosilk, i've been using it for some time now but always wondered what was in it. I don't see why our whores would smell worse than yours though. Please go around my site and you can see my oil paintings for sale. My favorite artist is Vladimir Volegov. He is an expert in bringing out the lighting effect in all his paintings. Inspired by him. I basically have a theme and work towards it. I love portraying Indian culture, hard working men/women, happy men/women and anything that I find very common in India. I like the sincerity shown by a commoner while he/she prays, while a mother breastfeeds her child, while a father walks her daughter and my aim is to capture the sincerity in their activities. All the works that you see on my site are original art for sale. I am getting enquiries from several countries such US, UK, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia and so on for my oil paintings for sale. Several celebrities in our area have enquired my original artwork for sale.

An update on our alarms and excursions...............

Well, life has been decidedly more relaxed today. Yesterday we were still trying to come to terms with everything that happened. I also had to go with YD for an eye test. When the optician darkened the room and was peering into YD's eyes I was trying desperately to keep mine open. I could so easily have fallen asleep!

ED is still in a lot of pain but is well used to using crutches. Just as well her sister can do without hers at the moment else they'd have to take turns. We've been trying to rearrange all our plans for the week as she won't be able to get anywhere unaided and the dog still has to be walked.

My Mum has not had an operation after all. It was decided that as there was no displacement in the fracture then as long as she can keep her weight off it she would be a lot better off than having to get over an op. She is very frail but is learning to hop along with a zimmer frame! I just hope they don't send her home too early.

Moneygrams?

It's one of my GD's birthdays on Thursday and she lives in NZ. Someone told me I can do a moneygram to her. I usually transfer money directly into her bank account but as it's a UK one she can't access it.

Anyone out there know the workings of moneygrams please?
