Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts on my previous posts. That picture summed Clutterbug up! His dress sense always left a little bit to be desired....but he loved that black and white jacket, and that's all that mattered. It's nice that he looked so cheerful in that picture too.:)
I saw the proofs of the funeral Order of Service today, and we have a ship in full sail, heading into a sunset, on the cover, and a picture of Clutterbug, with our Mum and Dad, on the back. He loved sailing ships, and often drew pictures of them, so I think he'll approve.
It's definitely going to be a very quiet funeral on Monday, but Clutterbug didn't really like crowds, or social gatherings, so I think it's appropriate.
It feels so strange, not having a chat with him every few days...but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I keep thinking I'm OK, but I suddenly find I'm not. For example, I've just washed Mr Rosa's dog-walking Puffa jacket on the wrong temperature...and it's now an Un-Puffa jacket, and I poured milk into the washing machine instead of fabric softener the other day!
Hopefully, after Monday, I'll be a bit more normal. Whatever that is!
