Good morning Thursday

Was going to let someone else start the morning post but then I would have been late back on the forum.

OH and I have been so good this week I think we will treat ourselves to a coffee and toasted teacake! I know, we're impossible! I have to pick up a prescription and OH wants to go to the library to see if he can find some information of some talks going on, so really are forced to have coffee out aren't we?

Other than that, all quiet in the PN household. Filled the vacuum drum with Tommy's hair yesterday and that was just downstairs! Might clean the bathrooms today. Oh joy!

Checked my phone this morning to get the right day!

Didn't sleep too well last night, first time since we have been here. Think it is because we return home today and, drum roll please, the plumber says he is coming at 9am!

Did a blitz on the house yesterday so just have to put the vac round again, make up our bed for our next visitors and pack the car. Will be down again in May and maybe a few days in April, but not sure about that one. Hope we remember to go via Paignton and put the spanish key through YS and partner's letterbox.

Otherwise not much happening today!

Another dreary looking day but at least it is light outside. Much nicer now the nights are drawing out a bit and the mornings are getting lighter earlier.

Had a lovely catch up with our friends last night. Like us, one of them caught an awful cold on the plane coming home. Wretched machines! Good food but oh boy was it cold walking home.

Not sure what we are doing today. YS and partner have their birthdays at the end of the month and we haven't a clue what to get them. They have just bought new motorbikes (slight groan!) and OH wondered about Triumph T shirts but they are expensive and I don't think I have ever seen YS's partner wearing a T shirt, as opposed to a polo shirt. So we might go to Brighton to see if we can be enlightened. We are going to Cornwall at the weekend for about 10 days, so that would be the perfect time to drop whatever we buy for them into them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated - what do you buy the guys who have everything? Can't go tomorrow as I am expecting a canvas print I have ordered for MIL's birthday on the 18th.

If we don't go to Brighton then OH needs some new wellies and I also want to buy some veg to take to Cornwall with me. Not quite so exciting but definitely necessary.

Hi peeps, how is everybody.?
Just awoke from a lovely dream where I was young and beautiful and a totally gorgeous man in uniform was making a big play for me :o Time to get over myself and do the breakfast. Going to see my surrogate Mum this morning and bravely volunteered to take her grocery shopping but she said her son is going on Saturday and will take her-relief! Other than that-need to go out for a long walk-not really getting daily exercise now I've given up work-not good.

Have GD again today and then collect GS from school and wait with them at their house for their parents getting home. That's our day then. How about you?

Just going through things on the computer before I make breakfast. Tommy has deserted me this morning and decided to join OH, which means he will be flat out on my side of the bed.

Nothing planned today. Nothing achieved yesterday. Lull before the mad build up to Christmas! Mind you, OH still has to buy my present. Think I had better remind him!

I had to check the day on my phone again. Totally lost track with where the week is going!

Dark outside. Yuck!

Had a pootling day yesterday and think today will be the same. Certainly nothing major to be done, except that OH wants to wrap the presents. Trouble is, if I wrap his and put them under the tree, he will guess what they are. He is just like a child when it comes to Christmas presents. Not that he has bought mine yet!

Other than that, just general tidying and must post a birthday card to my friend, who has her birthday on Sunday.
