I was flicking through what's on at the cinema the coming week and there was one showing of Autistic.....Angry Birds so not understanding, I read it up.
Apparently Odeon cinemas sometimes do film shows along with the disability organisations, for people with Autism so they show no adverts or trailers, the lights are always left on, the sound is reduced and people are able to move around. I've never seen this before but seems a lovely idea so that they can possibly do something that everyone else takes for granted.
The only thing I wonder about is that there are so many degrees of autism, if some can settle to some extent and others can't, that might cause problems but I don't know enough about the subject really, I just thought it was nice to have something for those that have problems.
