Sorry I didn't get chance to post on yesterday's or today's morning threads. Sometimes life just gets in the way doesn't it?
I really must take time to catch up on everyone's news but my PC is so S L O W that it would take me hours and hours. OH is adamant that we don't need a new one (despite this old thing being 15 years old) - it's almost growing whiskers ;)
We were out and about early today and popped to Cheshire Oaks which is an out of town shopping village. It's enormous! Normally we wouldn't go near at the weekend but it's my birthday tomorrow and he wanted to take me shopping for a new watch. I saw one I loved in Alzira but he wouldn't agree to buying it as he was unsure about a warranty if anything went awry. Anyway, the rain bucketed down the whole time we were out and I couldn't get back quickly enough. I did buy a beautiful Fiorella purse in soft grey leather for my best friend whom I'm seeing on Monday for lunch. We share the same birthday week. OH and I did however pop into M&S for a 'dine for two for £10' meal deal for tonight and whilst in there saw two long sundresses which I really took a a fancy to. I bought both as I couldn't decide which I liked best - good job I had a 20% off voucher from a friend.
It's stopped raining now so OH is out planting some delphiniums (I think)?? He's not doing hanging baskets this year as we'll be away too much and we've no-one to water them. I did suggest we bought artificial ones but OH isn't too keen on that idea. Trouble is, I love a flash of colour at the front of the house, so I might buy them and just put them up myself. A woman's got to do what a woman's got to do eh girls?
Anyway, I feel I've bored you all way too long. I'm off to make a cuppa xxx
