Hi everyone, look who Storm Katie blew in! My namesake really rattled our doors and windows but thankfully no damage.I am having yet another quiet afternoon as I recover from Shingles and as I am feeling a bit better I thought that I would say hello. Mr K is pottering gently in the garden, bless him. His recent MRI scan didn't show anything conclusive regarding the prostate cancer but it showed a possible lesion on his hip so we are now waiting for the results of X-rays on that and they are going to do more blood tests in a couple of months to monitor the prostate situstion as he wasn't keen on having a biopsy at this point. I don't know whether he is right or not but it his decision and I hope that it will be ok. Meanwhile his first consultation for his hernia is not until the end of May! My job is to stop him from overdoing things in the meantime which is not easy as he is such an action man! I have convinced him to get someone in to relay the patio and side path thank goodness as he had planned to do it himself. We have also arranged to have new blinds fir the conservatory and an awning for the patio. If we can't go on holiday until all the hospital appointments are finished with we will at least be able to enjoy the garden.Actually we have rented a house in the Lake District for a week and YS, DIL and GC are coming too. It will be a kind of halfway house so that BIL and SIL can bring FIL down from Scotland to see us all there to meet his great grandchildren for the first time - he was 90 last week bless him!I have been peeping in from time to time but haven't felt up to posting. Hopefully I will get back to normal (whatever that is) soon.Anyway, I will say cheerio for now, take care xx
