Insomnia is something I think we have all suffered with from time to time and I thought we could share our thoughts here on anything that helps us get to sleep.
I've tried most of the relaxing therapies which sometimes works. I don't like to read as that involves having my eyes open which seems counter productive. The best thing I've found is to listen to the radio using my speaker pillow. So I don't disturb my OH I'd previously tried a personal stereo but the ear buds weren't comfy enough to drift off to sleep if I turned on my side.
I saw this advertised in a magazine a couple of years ago and it really works for me.....I just plug it into my little radio. It's a good distraction if I'm awake because I'm overthinking something.

I'm not advertising - I got mine from Asda and Tesco have them too.
Has anyone else tried this or have any other suggestions?
