Where on earth do these people come from?
Sadly muppets like this seem to abound - at what point would you automatically decide that someone had been driving for too long? I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it's pretty rare, there's always going to be a small hardcore of hauliers that run over hours. Company's like Fords will run hyper legal (chillasnicetruckingcompany.com does).
And it's always the implicit suggestion that any accident is the truck drivers fault. It could be
The driver's fault - but hands up who has never made a mistake on the road
mechanical failure - it happens no matter how good the servicing
maybe the driver had a heart attack
maybe some muppet in a car did something idiotic and if it hadn't been for the truck driver taking the action he did, several people might be dead.
Point is, no-one knows yet. The one thing you do know is that someone is dead and somewhere a woman is a widow or a mother has lost her son, or a child has lost its father.
