Good Morning Girls,
Hope you're all up and wearing your happy faces - you can always pretend the Sun is shining even if it's not!
Funny how little things are sent to remind us sometimes that things aren't always as bad as they seem - it's those little out of the blue unexpected better than expected outcomes that count after all.
Had a lovely weekend (have been sitting contemplating the ins and outs of it - the pros and cons of keeping up with a bike enthusiast - like pulling the petals from a daisy - love him, love him not depending on how he and the bike are playing with my emotions and navigating their route - "Breath Margaret, I wouldn't have seen that from a car window" moments while at the same time cursing bike and biker for taking a bend on a 45 degree tilt (me - because that's just what you do), zig-zagging the rocks on the mountain roads or the holes in them, slowing to almost a standstill to navigate the goat herd that decide cumulatively they want to sniff your feet or look at you with drive round me eyes because I was here first! From the comfort of my kitchen I can laugh at such things now and be grateful for the opportunity to be able to live such things!
Adequately refreshed (showered and smelling like a meadow) back to the daily grind today. Contemplating a To Do list but thinking perhaps better to play it by ear. Need to arrange the dog pick up, pop some bits to the dry-cleaner/collect some etc, arrange for carpet man to collect my carpets for cleaning, fruit/veg shop etc,etc. Need to do a tour of the garden and see what's what (looks like everything is still upright so not too thirsty which means the water in system didn't have hiccups.) Have just spied a baby tomato on one of my patio plants too which means it's time to sprinkle with the blue stuff before the rest of the flower heads fall off.
Feeling that countdown moment till the kids arrive coming on although I have another couple of weeks or so to prepare (excitement kicking in).
