I mention this every summer. It's a program to promote teen reading so most of the books are considered Young Adult, which these days means there's a teen as the or one of the main characters, so classics like "This Boy's Life" are now YA. Last summer one of the books was Daphne DuMaurier's "Rebecca".
Anyway, each week starting in May, the give away 2 books: a contemporary YA title paired with a classic or older title with a similar theme.
It's completely legitimate, no spyware or virus dangers from the downloads. The books are provided by the publisher/author and the program is promoted by the publishers on Facebook and Twitter. You can download titles to your phone or computer or both, you can listen on your phone, transfer to an MP3 player, or burn to CDs if you like as you own the books once you download them.
All you need is to download OVERDRIVE to your phone or computer and sign up for email or text alerts at AudiobookSync.com. Then just download the books your are interested in.
