Lovely weather this morning, no misty haze, beautiful blue sky and sunshine.
Just had breakfast with OH, he's off to work and I'm off to turn the watering system on - have to do the watering manually at the end of the plot where we planted the new trees as we haven't extended the pipe work yet. I will only be able to reach so far with the hose then it's fill the 5L watering can for the rest and take it Walkies! Not looking forward to that bit as 5L is heavy although not as much as a 6 pack of drinking water.
Need to go into town so will pop into the hairdresser and ask if he can trim my hair - just needs the dry ends lopped off. I might even have a manicure - nails are short but no two looking like they belong on the same hand - maybe I should have a semi permanent varnish put on to stop them from breaking as they do - garden fingers! To be honest I think I overdid the Domestic Goddess routine last week so have decided I deserve a little pampering - my efforts at manicures are not quite up to the mark.
Bit of a nonsense going on right now on the kitchen floor - Ruby and Layla are preening each other and having a chat at the same time - so funny to watch. Keep giving me the "come on Mum, where's our breakfast?" look so I better go and sort that out.
Hope everyone has a lovely day. xxx
