Has anyone either been a hitchhiker or picked/picks up hitchhikers?
I've never hitched myself, never needed to, but I have picked up several hitch hikers and never felt threatened either. Even picked up one with a dog once, picked up a man and his 7 year old boy that had broken down and a homeless lady ( lady being the operative word there) trying to get to a shelter, plus other along the way.
