More sunshine! We did have a massive thunderstorm and torrential rain for about an hours yesterday afternoon and now it's all lovely again :cool:
Same neighbour who couldn't use her microwave phoned up in gthe evening to say she's allowed 2 men into her garden, quoting to lop a tree and were being very pushy and she was a bit scared. She keeps being bullied by various people who leaflet drop because she's too polite to say no, so I gave her a talking-to last time. Anyway, as soon as her "nephew and his wife" (us) appeared, the priced somehow dropped from £300 to remove the top 4ft of tree to £200 for the 18 ft she had asked for! Old people are so vulnerable for being conned, aren't they?
Hope to spend much of the day outdorrs again today. A kind friend has offered to come and water for me while we're away so I want to make sure I finish some hanging baskets and get it all tidy. Happy way to spend the day.
