Only been to Guernsey twice for a couple of days both times. Never really gelled with it, so it's a quick visit I think
That's St Peter Port, which is pretty nice actually, nice restaurants and cafes, plenty fo shops with a mix of chains and locals.
Hasn't changed much from 70 odd years ago - all those buildings are still there - just more flowers about!
This is the other side of the port, it's an old castle, that like much of these islands has another layer of history over it when the Germans occupied the islands during WW2.
10642 yesterday - might not be so good today as my colleague is out of the office.
