Missed History of the World in 100 objects but saw it in Perth, Australia, yesterday. Brilliant and most enjoyable exhibition I've seen in a long time. Glad we eventually made it!Caught 07.30 ferry to Rottnest Island today, off coast of Perth. Glorious unspoilt wildlife haven and home to the Quokka. A very cute marsupial only found on this island. Staying for 3 days in a fairly basic cottage but overlooking the indian ocean, so wandering off to see the spectacular sunset before dinner. There's a path outside our cottage leading to a deserted beach ... I think that'll be the after-breakfast walk tomorrow, then!Chilla, on our way to Kallamunda yesterday, we saw a couple of amazing 'road trains' yesterday and i could just see you driving one with your beautiful hair blowing in the breeze through the open window!Take care everyone, and stay warm!
