Just a quickie to tell you the reason for my absence the last few days is that I inadvertently logged myself out! What a bl88dy faff trying to get back in. Not sure why I bothered but I would miss you all xx
So, I'll need to catch up on what's what when I get more time.
I've had a busy week up to now but an enjoyable one to boot. We went to the golf club's quiz night last night. It was a special St David's Day night and we had the most delicious Welsh Cawl which is a bit like scouse - a delicious stew Mmmmmm. We were joined by another couple to make up a team of four and we managed to come a respectable 2nd and won a bottle of vino collapso each. All in all a good night. They're hosting another on St Patrick's night, this time with an Irish theme. I must get swotting up on Irish history!
Anyway, OH is at tennis (indoor) right now and I am preparing (or supposed to be) a cottage pie for lunch. I've not many spuds in the house so am having to add leeks to the spuds for a potato and leek mash!
