Is everyone like me ,can't think of anything to post?
We've been invited out to Christmas lunch ,it turned out they couldn't get the C. Pud they wanted when in England so were going to do a (log) French style I'm not keen on them so came home (yesterday) and decided to make one. It's now happily sitting in the pan steaming away..A modern version of a 1953 pud from one of my cook books ,so, had no suet used half butter and half coconut oil. Agave instead of sugar and used dates, prunes,goji , papayas and almonds amongst all the normal fruits. Another story but l ended up with some malt beer, (the Jamaican's drink it ) and cognac. Even a Bramley apple as l had brought some back with me.tasted amazing raw so hope it's as good cooked. What is everyone else having.
