I've been a bit out of the loop, news-wise, over Christmas, as we don't really watch the TV over the holiday, but I've just caught up with it all this morning.
My heart goes out to the people living, and working, in the area. I know that at least one or two of our Forummers live nearby, so I just wanted to say that I hope all is well, and that you're safe and dry.
It would be a dreadful situation any time of the year...but to go through this when rest of the country is having fun and relaxing with their families, must be soul-destroying.
Thinking of everyone today, who have had their Christmas ruined, and their homes and livelihoods wrecked by the floods. I can't begin to imagine how they must be feeling.
