Yet again my vile sister has ignored mum over Christmas. No texts on Christmas Day or Boxing Day but then her son called to see mum & said that VO was in a stinking mood because her husbands family were coming & staying over. That's 7 extra. Boy did that make me smile. Today VO text mum offering to take her to Sainsburys which is literally two minutes from mums but she refused. So did she drive over to have a cup of tea with her at home? Don't be daft. She is going away tomorrow for a week with her wonderful friends so that will be two weeks since she's seen her.
Mum is nicely off but as so many of her generation she loves basic food. So what did VO get her for Christmas bearing in mind how generous mum is with us three & 6 grandchildren? A prawn cocktail, a tin of stewing beef & jar of jam!!! In a carrier bag no less which she didn't even give to mum. My mum adores reading so any book would have been gratefully received.
She did try grovelling to other sister by sending her a Christmas card but it was not reciprocated. We will see what happens next as VO is hoping to get another free holiday with the brother in law of my nice sister.

Vile One makes it two years running
