I mentioned to someone today that, in addition to their long daily walk, my dogs also get a stroll around where I live, during the evening. Depending on what I'm doing it can be any time between 6pm and 10pm, whether it's dark or not.
She was horrified that I walk round the housing estate in the dark on my own, even though I have two fairly large dogs with me. It's never occurred to me to be worried, although I will admit that I'm sensible enough to avoid quiet alleyways and the area near the local pub.
Do you go out on your own in the dark during the evening, and does it bother you?
