I was given a boxed Amaryllis bulb for Christmas, along with pot and compost.
Unfortunately, the poor thing decided to try to come to life whilst still in it's box and, when I opened it today, I found this insipid green, slightly phallic, specimen crushed at right angles against the box lid. I have no idea if it will straighten out before it flowers but, if it doesn't, it will certainly be a talking point!:D
