Well, well, well. Yes, here I am doing my first Good Morning post in yonks.
I've been up since silly o'clock, just not tired at all for some strange reason. I'll probably regret getting up so early a little later in the day.
I've been living up to my Forum moniker lately - Bizi's been busy:D Even though OH and I are spending Christmas with the family at our S's home, I still have found lots to do here. It's hard getting enthused though as all I can think of is jetting off to the sun early January for 6 weeks...........I'm hating this weather at the moment:( I feel I could be getting either trench foot or webbed toes, it's just been so wet, cold and damp. We did get a little sunshine yesterday which was lovely as we had to go 'down the coast' for a meeting with our IFA. It's a yearly meeting to see how we are doing financially - Boring!!! Then I met up with my lovely DIL for lunch and a little shopping at the most delightful place out in the countryside.
Today I'm off for some serious pampering at D's salon (not allowed to call it the Foo Foo parlour anymore). Then a cut and blow dry before heading back here to start doing some wrapping of pressies. The only thing we have under our tree at the moment is my SS parcel - I am so looking forward to opening it on Christmas Day and not a day before;)
OH and I have been 'binge-watching 'The Good Wife' now we have our Amazon Fire Stick. We are glued to this series and it's every bit as good as we were told it would be. We've watched series 1 and 2 and have just started on series 3. It's really good, well written and extremely well acted. It's a bit like 'LA Law' but with knobs on. Who remembers that? We have also enjoyed 'The Last Kingdom' which has just finished on BBC1. Great series and highly recommended (if a bit gory in parts)!
Oh well, it's now 5.40am and I'm going to head back to the marital bed for a snuggle and maybe, just maybe I might get another hour's sleep.
