Morning, Ladies, I'm back after a week of serious cold.
Some of you perhaps remembers, I had a post about our D, about what a hard business woman she became, being increadibly impatient with GS and her OH, being unfriendly and judgmental towards us, how we never understand where our lovely and caring D disappeared.
Well, in the middle of last week she invited us for the whole weekend, as SIL was on a business trip. We agreed of course and went with mixed feelings but not wanting to miss a chance for normalising our relationship. We decided not to force any discussion.
She was very nice! Saturday morning we were sitting around the breakfast table endlessly and talked.
I knew it, and was right, of course, either she does this very demanding job 100% or she is out. Besides she worked for this position very hard and enjoys her success. She told us she is working on her behaviour at home very hard, but more often than not, she is simply washed out when she comes home.
She also listened to us and asked how we and our closes friends are, generally she was the nice person we always knew she is.
In the evening she invited us to very nice restaurant and thanked us for helping so much with GS during the year and supporting her. I felt touched.
Now I'm looking forward to X-mas Eve, which we'll spend together, hopefully it'll be equally relaxed and nice.
