just wondered if it bothers anyone if they don't have grandchildren - those with adult children who are in their thirties - I suppose what bothers me most is when friends, colleagues comment on theirs and say you will have some soon! I have joked with my 2 about it and just said so long as you are happy then I am and I do mean that.
We have a little dog who we love and will maybe get another one. I guess it is the same for married couples who don't want children and keep being questioned on it. I can't understand that either. Some people don't want children, far worse to have them cos everyone else is.
IMO I consider myself very lucky to have 2 children and grandchildren would be a further blessing but I don't think you should expect them as your right.
