Promise, no more MIL after this. OH had a horrendous 2 days of driving but MIL is now back home, having seen the foot surgeon in Exeter and planning surgery in the next couple of weeks. SIL is taking over the transport and OH will phone BIL today and suggest he gets off his backside too to help her. The weather and traffic were awful, worse coming back than going. But her foot was a lot worse than OH thought and with accurate X rays, it was obvious something has to be done. I know at the moment she appreciates him taking her and has thanked him (miracles sometimes DO happen!!) but I don't know if she realises what a dire state she would have been in, if he had not intervened. She could not have done this herself as, for starters, she would not have known the best person to contact. Very scary thought for our future health and a situation that really shouldn't be.
So a normal day for us. Probably coffee as I need to pick up a prescription and get a few bits and bobs from Boots for hols. Out to dinner with friends tonight, with pre dinner drinks at their house first. Our local Wildwood restaurant has an offer on at the moment of a 2 course meal plus a drink for £10 a head! We shall not be able to see these friends again for quite a while as we are away for a month and when we get back, they will have gone away for at least a month as well.
Weather too disgusting to talk about!

A normal morning this morning thank goodness!
So a normal day for us. Probably coffee as I need to pick up a prescription and get a few bits and bobs from Boots for hols.
