Ed ' stewpot has died.

I was so sorry just hearing that Ed Stewart has died of a stroke.
I listened to him on Xmas morning a few weeks ago when he hosted Junior Choice.
What memories his music brought back especially Nelly the Elephant which is one of my favorites even today!
