Well, after a bit of a hiatus, I'm back.
Firstly, thank you to all who PM'd and emailed me, in my absence, and thank you, too, to PBD, who enquired on the Forum about where I'd got to!
It's been a tricky few weeks. We're having major, major, problems with Clutterbug, my learning disabled brother, who has finally agreed that he wants to move into extra-care, or residential, accommodation and, more to the point, has decided that he wants to move nearer to me, so we're trying to get that organised. Somehow, I don't think it's going to be easy.
Last week my dodgy neck went into spasm, so I was in a lot pain and wasn't able to type, either on the Forum, or to do my work. I have a meeting of my Charity looming in a couple of weeks, so I'm furiously trying to catch up with minutes and reports.
Our car, which broke down in spectacular fashion, some time ago, still hasn't been repaired; the garage is waiting for a part from Germany. Ordinarily, it wouldn't matter too much, as Mr R isn't here to use it but, sadly, last Saturday, his aunt in Devon, died and, as he's next-of-kin and executor, we've had to hire a car so that he could dash down there to arrange things.
Mr R was very fond of his aunt, although she could be quite difficult. She was actually the last of his Mum's relations, so he's taken her death quite hard. Fortunately, she wants her funeral to be held near us so, at the moment she's in a Funeral Directors in Honiton, but will be brought back here for the funeral in Reading which is to be on the 29th.
To say I've been snowed under is an understatement, but I think the dust is settling, so I should be around a bit more. I think it will be a week or two before I resume the Nosy Posts though.
I hope all is well with you all, and if I've missed any birthdays or anniversaries, I apologise, but hope you had a lovely time.
