I have just read that Paul Daniels has a terminal brain tumour-I know that he is often mocked and is not my favourite entertainer but he had a massive following for years and there is no doubt that his shows gave a great deal of pleasure to many people.I was sickened to read vitriolic comments about him after the announcement,why couldn't people simply say nothing and leave him in peace?Whatever their views,it is extremely sad for his wife and family and those idiots will simply add immeasurably to their distress-I do despair of people sometimes!
