I've been looking for a smart black coat to wear to Mr Rosa's aunt's funeral on Monday. I saw a lovely Windsmoor wool, single-breasted coat, with a leather trim, in the sale, reduced from £249 to £179. It still seemed quite a lot, so I decided against it but, on Tuesday, I went and had another look and it was still there so decided to get it, especially as it had been reduced again to £124.00.
To cut a long story short, like an idiot, I'd gone into town without my credit card, so the shop agreed to put it aside for me 48 hours.
I went and collected it yesterday afternoon and, when I got to the till, it had been reduced again...to £79.20!!
Things like that don't usually happen to me, so I was absolutely chuffed to bits.
This is it...
It's the first coat (as opposed to a jacket) that I've bought for years. It's a classic, fits beautifully, and will last for years...unless, of course, I manage to lose some weight!!!:)
