Good morning everyone and wish all you all happy St. Georges Day.
Im shocked when looking at internet news that not a mention of it anywhere... not the BBC, nor the "papers". Where has all our British pride gone? Shakespeare is mentioned... not our Saint. Shops are full of St Patricks day cards, but nothing again for us.
I for one am proud to be british and a shame that political correctness seems to have taken so much away from our heritage.
Anyway.... Im happy today as my ES and family are coming down and stopping overnight. Had my brother here for last 3 days and we visited mum yesterday, but he flies home today.
Im also breathing a sigh of relief as my dads probate is all finalised, his estate gone to mum so another big responsibility off my shoulders and dare I say, I'm beginning to relax??
Anyway, Happy St. Georges Day one and all and hope you all have a good day. At least the sun is out here!
