I think our Queen has set more records now as she has reached her 90th birthday.
Whether you like the royal family or not, you have to hand it to her that she has been an amazing ambassador for our country, been through thick and thin like the rest of us and shows no signs of slowing down with all her duties and public engagements.
I watched a programme not long ago that was mainly made up with views and comments from her children/grandchldren who clearly all dote on her. I think she has far more energy than I have - she needs no assistance in climbing into carriages, cars, down steps and still walks with gusto.
Fab photo released today of her with grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also one of her with William, Harry and George (the latter standing on a pile of books!).
I hope today all the planned celebrations go well and know there are many events on now celebrating her 90th right up to the middle of June. Im even having a royal garden party for my family, friends and their children on 11th June!
Has anyone ever met the Queen? I know my dad has a picture of her when she visited Stevenage many, many years ago but never met her.
