I can and did.
It was because it was twenty years ago to the day that my dear dad died.
He was aged just 53 and had been told only three weeks before that he had cancer.
I went to see him the day he died and so that day has stuck in my head.
A release for him as he was in great pain and suffering during the last few weeks and days of his life.
There are many other days I recall and can remember that are far happier.
I try not to dwell on the 10th February in a negative way.
So I made sure I thought of him with fond and happy memories and then gave myself a busy day visiting a friend all day.
