Apologies to all!

I feel I must apologise to all the lovely ladies who posted birthday greetings to me this week. I've only just logged in and taken a look ..... so sincere apologies for not responding and thanking you all sooner.

I had a quite day, but a lovely lunch with the ladies at the Birmingham Lunch club the day before. Things have been a bit fraught here as DiL fell and broke her leg just after New Year (while in hospital for another issue!) so her outings have been rather limited. My S has been working from home most of the time but had to go into work on Thursday so I spent most of the day sitting with her. I had planned a family meal out but will have to save that for another time now. I popped home for an hour during the afternoon, then went back to them for Birthday cake and a Chinese takeaway later. It was lovely, if not quite what I'd planned.... thinking it would be good to go out with the family now I'm living close to them! Our meal was accompanied by listening to the Best of Bowie CD, which my GD bought me, taking me right back to my youth!
