“He raised a generation of viewers believing this was a fun, kitsch show that had no relevance whatsoever.”
I think that's because it really does have no relevancy, it's just something we shunt a load of money into.
Because of what Terry Wogan did, the UK don’t put in their best efforts.

Yeah, but that was before it got all political, now Serbia doe/doesn't vote for macadonia/Albania. Russia won't vote for Ukraine. fairly sure Ukraine won't vote for Russia.
