Just had details of a house new to the market emailed to me.
My remit-
3-4 bed detached, front and rear gardens, parking and/or garage, in town, by the sea, walking distance to proper shops, bars, restaurants blah blah. Suitable for people of retirement age (nice, in other words!)
The house on offer
5 bed semi, MULTI-OCCUPANCY TENANTED (capitalised like it's a good thing), staight on off the street, no parking, in a village in the middle of nowhere and for about a third of our suggested budget. Oh, and planning may be given, only may, for it to be turned back into a family home. Also in a good catchment area for schools.
I emailed back to ask if it was an April Fool's joke.
I've heard of wild cards but...do estate agents ever listen?
