I have always wanted to go & have lunch in "The Dome". In Edinburgh. Yesterday OH, myself & another couple did just that. It was lovely & the food was delicious. I even excelled myself & had a cocktail. It is such a lovely building & the staff were excellent at their job.
After lunch we had a wonder about Edinburgh & was going to stop off for a drink but some pubs had quite a few steps which with the chair was a no no & the ones one the level were soooooo busy you couldn't get a table. I was really surprised at how busy they were but as OH said we're not used to city life.
We headed back to the tram & got to the car......so much easier than trying to park in Edinburgh. We then stopped off for a wee G&T before heading home. A very relaxing & enjoyable day. Will now have to think of another new place to visit.
